The Confederation of Aerial Industries (CAI) is the recognised body for the aerial and satellite industry.  It is committed to raising standards within the industry and because the criteria for membership of the CAI is extremely high, the customer is assured of a quality installation at a fair price.Member companies agree to the inspection of any of their work by a CAI inspector, subject to the customer’s prior approval. All CAI members guarantee their installations for a minimum of twelve months.  They are also required to work to the exacting standards laid down in the CAI’s Codes of Practice.

Freeview is the reception of digital television through a conventional roof-top aerial.  For this technology, new digital TV adaptors, as well as integrated digital TV sets are available to purchase, without any obligation to subscribe to pay-TV unless specifically required.  Digital terrestrial transmission is designed to work with existing roof-top aerials that are in a good condition, but some houses will need a new roof-top aerial.  This is dependent upon several factors: the area where you live; which frequencies are used at your local transmitter; plus the nature and condition of your current aerial installation.
